Travel Helper App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes Able Pigeon policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Travel Helper App and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • Able Pigeon means the Google ID account for the Travel Helper account and will in this document refer to the owner of the Travel Helper app.
  • Application refers to Travel Helper, the software program provided by the Company.
  • Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a mobile phone or a digital tablet.
  • Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • Service refers to the Application.
  • Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.
  • Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

While using the Travel Helper app, you will not be asked to provide Able Pigeon with personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Travel Helper app will nether collect or retain your personal data for Able Pigeon of any users.

Children’s Privacy

The Travel Helper app will nether collect or retain the personal data for Able Pigeon of people under the ages of 16 years of age or under 13 years of age.

Third Party APIs

The Travel Helper app uses APIs that are operated by Open Street Maps and Google location services. Able Pigeon strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of these APIs before using Travel Helper.

BACKGROUND LOCATION PERMISSION

For the Travel Helper to function, the BACKGROUND LOCATION PERMISSION needs to be set to “Allow all the time”. This is required so that if there is any set alarm, the Travel Trainer app can receive the device’s up-to-date location so that when the device enters an area corresponding to the alarm’s location range the alarm will trigger. While the BACKGROUND LOCATION PERMISSION needs to always be allowed, the device will only be updating the device’s location in the background when the user has set an alarm that is set to Active. This background location update will cease once all alarms have the ACTIVE setting switched off or are deleted. The Travel Helper will never share the device’s location with Able Pigeon or any third party.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party services.

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
